Sisterhood
For over fifty years, Sisterhood has played a major role in maintaining, sustaining and helping Temple in every way. Sisterhood supports the TBS Religious School and other youth activities, provides pulpit flowers and Oneg Shabbat refreshments, raises funds for Temple through our Rummage Sales, Judaica Shop, Uniongrams and our active role in BAZAAR and the Adult Education Breakfast Lecture series. In addition to our many fundraising activities, Sisterhood creates a bond among the women of the congregation. We find time to meet, to talk, to work on projects for Temple and the community, and to form lasting friendships.
Meetings and programs are held monthly on weekday evenings or Sunday mornings. Please check the monthly newsletter or our web site calendar for dates. Join us — your first year’s Sisterhood membership is our welcoming gift! In addition, you are our guests at a special “Paid-up Membership Dinner & Entertainment” in October.
